1. About BuildTek Events

BuildTek Events (operating as Build Tek Events), headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, India, organises B2B corporate summits, leadership conclaves, and virtual events. These Terms govern your relationship with BuildTek Events when you use our website at https://buildtek.in or attend our events.

2. Delegate Registration & Vetting

2.1 Application Process

All BuildTek Events are invite-only and subject to delegate vetting. Submitting a registration form constitutes an application, not a confirmed booking. BuildTek reserves the right to decline any application without providing a reason.

2.2 Eligibility

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Corporate or professional email addresses are required for registration.
• Delegates must be genuine senior professionals in the relevant sector (as defined per event).

2.3 Pass Transfer

Delegate passes are non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, a substitute from your organisation at equivalent seniority may be considered — subject to written approval from BuildTek at least 7 days before the event.

3. Fees, Payment & Cancellation

60+ days before event	Full refund less a 10% processing fee
30–59 days before event	50% refund or full credit toward a future event
Under 30 days	No refund. Credit transfer considered on request
No-show	No refund or credit

Where BuildTek must cancel or postpone an event due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, including natural disasters, government orders, or public health emergencies), we will offer a full credit toward a future event or a refund at our discretion.

4. Code of Conduct

All delegates, speakers, sponsors, and staff are expected to:

• Treat all participants with respect and professionalism.
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct of any kind.
• Not engage in unsolicited commercial solicitation or spam within event channels.
• Maintain confidentiality of private or proprietary information shared by other delegates in closed-door sessions.
• Comply with all applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the event takes place.

BuildTek reserves the right to remove any participant who violates this Code of Conduct without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 BuildTek Content

All content on buildtek.in — including text, graphics, logos, and event collateral — is the intellectual property of BuildTek Events and may not be reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written permission.

5.2 Speaker & Delegate Content

By presenting or participating in a BuildTek event, speakers grant BuildTek a non-exclusive licence to record, photograph, and share content from their presentation for marketing and archival purposes, unless a written opt-out is submitted in advance.

5.3 Photography & Recording at Events

BuildTek may photograph and record events for promotional use. By attending, you consent to your likeness being captured in event photography and recordings.

6. Sponsorship & Exhibition

Sponsorship agreements are governed by separate Sponsorship Contracts. These Terms of Service apply in addition to (and do not supersede) any specific sponsorship agreement. Sponsors may not present misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content at events.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• BuildTek Events is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your participation in or exclusion from any event.
• Our total liability to any delegate shall not exceed the registration fee paid for the specific event in question.
• BuildTek does not warrant that events will be free from interruption, error, or that speakers or sessions will not change.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By registering for events or using our website, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

9. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems.
• Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to collect data from our website without permission.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form on our website.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the normal functioning of our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India. If you are based in the EU or UK, nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for registered delegates) or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services or attendance at events after changes constitutes acceptance.
